Lede Group pays strict attention to the quality of each product in every step of production, from the procurement of raw materials, to processing and final shipping. We do not allow for the use of poor quality raw materials, and purchase them in full accordance with GB standard requirements, as listed below.
Casting: Ductile iron and all castings meet ASTM 536 and ISO 1083 standards.
Sealing ring: The sealing ring is made from EPDM, silica gel and Nitrile rubber.
Bolts and nut: The nuts and bolts are made of high quality carbon steel, heat treated and zinc electroplated. They conform to ASTM A183 and ISO 898 standards.
Surface: All castings are treated with sand blasting before finishing. For different environments, different finishes are recommended, such as epoxy powder, paint, or dichromate in order to meet a variety of customer requirements.
Product Design
We have a dedicated team for research and design, and all molds are designed in advanced using a CAD/CAM computer aided system, based on a finite element theory to optimize the grooved casting structure. All possible defects are fully considered during the casting process in order to ensure the safety coefficient of the product design is as close to actual production as possible.
Casting Process
The casting process design is equipped with a computer simulation software (castsoft CAE) in order to simulate the molten iron pouring process. This ensures the best technology state and prevents possible casting defects.
Mold Machining
All molds are machined by the processing center, which can achieve one fixture with five face milling technology, and ensures the dimensional precision of products.
Shandong Lede has a strong team for product research and design. All molds are designed using and advanced CAD/CAM computer aided system, based on a finite element theory in order to optimize the product structure. Possible defects are fully considered during the casting process, in order to make sure the safety coefficient of the product design is as close to actual production as possible.
Housing Sections
The design of the coupling housing section allows it to self-center around a pipe, and encircle and retain the gasket against the application of pressure from the internal system vacuum. The housing section keys fit into and engage the pipe-end grooved around the entire pipe circumference, thus preventing pipe end separation due to the application of internal pressure.
The standard output of the housing section is made of ductile iron conforming to ASTM A536, Grade 65-45-12. Alternative materials available upon request include steel, stainless steel and copper. The standard output of the housing sections are coated with a rust inhibiting, lead free orange paint for general service applications.
Nuts and Bolts
The heat treated oval neck track head bolts join and secure the housing sections tighter. The oval neck track head design on the bolt head allows the hex nuts to be tightened using only one wrench.
